Salon Policies

Salon rules

  • All dog's must be brought to the salon on a lead, this ensures their safety.

  • Glitzy Paws will not subject dogs to the painful process of de-matting. Mats  will not just wash out and if your dog is matted I will need to do a full clip to allow your dog's coat a fresh start. *Extra fees may apply*

  • Dog's found with fleas will require a mandatory flea wash. *Fee may apply*

  • Muzzles are used at my discretion as a last resort. This is for my safety and the muzzle will only be used for brief periods.  

  • Your dog may be sent home incomplete, if it is deemed unsafe to the groomer or dog to continue with the groom.

  • Glitzy Paws does not use sedation under any circumstances. If a dog requires sedation prior to a grooming service, please consult with your vet. 

Cancellation policy or No Show

  • Less then 24 hours notice of cancellation may incur a $10 fee- Payable BEFORE your dog's next appointment 

  • No-Show or last minute cancellation, may be required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit for future bookings 

Safety & Welfare

  • All dog's must be fully vaccinated before entering the salon

  • Please reschedule your dog's booking if it is unwell. No dog's are to be brought in to the salon if vomiting or diarrhoea.

  • Please inform the groomer of any medical conditions or behavioural issues upon booking your appointment.
